Thrift Treasures 04

Hey There.
Happy Friday!! I can’t get over how quick this month went. It was a much better month over all. My son turned 6 this month. We had a Star Wars rebels theme for him. He is Star Wars obsessed! Every Father’s Dream, right? I decked out the home with the decorations. My son wanted to wear his costume from Halloween to his party. Why not? You only turn 6 once. For the birthday cake I did something different this year.My son wanted me to make him cake. I made Vanilla Box cake with Coca Cola Icing. I was short on time so I didn’t let the icing thicking so it ended up being a little liquidy. It turned out beautiful and it was a hit! Of course we had to put together a playlist of his fave songs. Everything turned out great!πŸ’™

Now for the Thrift/Flea Market Haul!!
I went out last weekend and scored some awesome thrift treasure. I bought the two skirts, tops and belt at one of my old local thrift stores. The skirts are a great staple to any wardrobe. Especially the blue one. The two tops( white flowery one is Juicy Couture) and blue and white blouse were last minute finds. As you know I’m a big blouse fan so what’s harm in adding another to the collection. I like the floral print with the cold buttons. So cute. I snagged the belts first. The brown I had to have because of the vintage look and it was made in Mexico. I had the pleasure of going to the French St. Market. it was so neat. All the different vendors and their crafts. They had antique furniture and bedding. They had food and music. The kiddos got to have cotton candy for the first time. I pretty much went there and got what I needed. I was in search of more milk glass. I was able to find 2 great pieces of. I’m not sure what I’m going to use them for yet. I also got this pretty neat picture frame with the wire. It can be used for hanging pictures or jewelry. I saw this cute peach vintage necklace. I thought it was adorable. I got all this from the same vendor for $15!! πŸ’™πŸ’™
