I can’t believe Halloween is here tomorrow and October is over. It seems like we just got done decorating the house with the ghoulish decor. We are going to be forced to take it down now. I might keep the lights up another week. There’s something about that orange glow thought out the house.
I forgot to post the most recent Thrift Haul from 2 weeks back. We had also took the kids out that day to park that morning before daddy went off to work. It was a beautiful Saturday morning. We had originally wanted to go eat at the park and than relax but getting two kids and a mommy ready is quite the task. So we only had time for play. I took a few pics of just that day. I also turned it into a mini photo shoot. Why not?
Afterwards. The kids and I went out to the Goodwill in Destin. I haven’t been there in years but remember finding great things. The plan was to see what Halloween costumes they had for the kids. I wanted to be cost efficient this year instead going all out. Last year, My hubby went a bit overboard with the costumes. It’s all good. We saw what we were looking for and grabbed it quickly. I started to look around just a bit. The first thing I saw was Sam & Libby Famous Bow Flats in this pretty color. I grabbed them and wanted these forever. I remember them being in style in the 90s and always though the were cute. They were $6.99. I also ran into another pair of flats, leopard print w/ a black felt bow. I was in need of another pair. The first ones I bought over 1o yrs ago in the Dillard’s on clearance. This were hard to pass up and for the same price as the other?! I was done at this point and than saw this vibrant print cardigan and Plaid long sleeve. This are going to be stables for the upcoming cooler weather. I liked them so much and grabbed those as well. Grand total of my thrift escapade was $33.00. Pretty thrifty for 2 long sleeves, 2 pair of flats and a perfect condition Halloween costume huh?
