Elle Eats : The Lobster Tail

Hello and Happy Wednesday!

Last Wednesday,  I had the pleasure of being invited to Pre – Opening VIP Dinner for local Influencers. It’s for a new venture at The Boardwalk Okaloosa Island, called Lobster Tail. I’m always looking to support anything in my community. What is Lobster Tail all about? Well, imagine going to a restaurant that features a variety of different dishes with lobster being the main course.  That is right! You can’t ask for anything more than more than that, right?

I love the whole set up of the windows over looking the gulf.  It’s a tourist dream to be able to eat and look out at the view of the Emerald Coast.

So I kicked of my meal with an appetizer, The Lobster Eggrolls.  These Eggrolls were so good and flavorable with the sweet – chili soy sauce.  I’m a sucker for cabbage so I enjoyed that as well. The lobster had a lot of flavor in it as well. Overall the appetizer was pretty good for the starter.

Finally, my meal of choice for night was the Lobster Tacos.  I love my tacos dearly so I had to choose this one. My Lobster Tacos came with  plenty of fried lobster, avocado( so good), cilantro slaw, roasted poblano cream sauce  & fries.  These Tacos were amazing and quite filling. I’ve never had fried lobster and was quite surprised at how good it tasted. The avocado & the cilantro slaw was fresh. The sauce kicked it up a notch. Perfect!

What I liked most about this spot is that there is something for everyone. When you think of lobster, most cases you think of a fancy meal. That is not the case with Lobster Tail. They’re currently open for dinner from 4pm- 10pm but will soon have brunch on Sundays (Can’t  Wait!!).  If you are a local or planing on visiting Fort Walton Beach, be sure to check them out. I will be back with my family and look forward to it.
