Thrift Halloween Costume/Decor

Happy Friday

Today’s Post is going to be a combination of what I thrifted recently for Halloween things and the decor. I found my daughters costume at the thrift store( Blue Butterfly) for less than $7. I have this thing with witch hats, so I grabbed this orange and black one with lace. I also grabbed a black lace dress that I was going to wear with the hat. the dress was $1 and the hat was $2. My son is going back in forth on rather he wants to go this year. He says he is getting too old for trick or treating. Ok son! We haven’t found one that he wants yet. Based on the luck I’ve had with thrifting for costumes, It’s hard to shop at Party City or Target and spend $30 or more on one. It’s for one night right?DSC01115

Here is how I decorated this year in the living room. I made it a little minimalist this year with splashes of orange here and there.  I love my spider webs so I added that on to random areas. I didn’t want it to be too busy in the living room area. We are going to do more with the outside instead.   I have a few new things along with the rest of the decor being seasoned. The skull was a Big Lot find some years back. The owls and black pumpkin was from Target. The lace is from Joann Fabric ( Clearance) and the rest of the pumpkins at AC Moore.
